Anglehop
Privacy policy

Your moments. Your choice.

How Anglehop handles your recordings, nearby sessions, and personal information.

Effective September 23, 2026

Creator access and purchases

Apple handles in-app purchases. Anglehop uses Apple's StoreKit on your device to verify purchases, refunds, and the original app download date used for free launch access. Anglehop does not receive your payment card details or send purchase or app-download records to a developer server. Apple handles these transactions under its own privacy policies. Restore purchases & launch access may ask you to sign in to your App Store account.

About this policy

Lars Tray provides Anglehop for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how Anglehop handles recordings, nearby sessions, local storage, and optional support requests. It applies to Anglehop; Veridano and other apps have their own policies.

Your recordings

Anglehop records video and sound when you choose to film. Recordings, edit decisions, session names, and exports are stored in the app on your device. Anglehop does not operate a developer-hosted video service, require an account, or include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Nearby sessions

When you join a session and the organizer accepts you, Anglehop exchanges your camera name, an app-generated camera identifier, connection and clock information, battery and temperature status, and low-resolution framing previews with participating devices. The organizer collects your original video and sound to make the shared edit. Apple’s nearby-connection framework requires encrypted connections. Session codes and organizer approval control participation; only join people you trust.

Permissions

Camera and microphone access let you film. The camera also scans QR codes. Local network access connects nearby devices. Photos access is requested only to add a video you choose to save; Anglehop does not request access to browse your photo library. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings. You can use the editor’s demo without joining a session.

Sharing and copies

Videos leave this device when you join a recording session, save to Photos, or choose a destination in the system share sheet. Recipients and destination services control their copies under their own settings and policies. Leaving a session stops participation but does not delete footage the organizer has already received.

Retention and deletion

Anglehop keeps your local originals, edits, exports, and delivery receipts until you delete them or remove the app. Manage storage in Settings deletes selected local copies after confirmation. Removing the app deletes its local library; offloading an app can retain its data. Copies on other devices, in Photos, or in backups are managed separately. Your Apple device backup settings may include Anglehop’s local data; Anglehop does not provide its own cloud synchronization.

Diagnostics

Connection failures may write technical error domains and codes to the device’s system log. These messages do not include videos, camera names, or session codes. Apple’s crash and diagnostic services follow your device’s privacy settings. Share app details is optional and lets you review and share the app version, device type, and operating-system version; it does not attach your recordings or library.

Your choices

You choose which sessions to join and which videos to save or share. Stop recording and leave a session to stop participating. Use Settings → Manage storage to delete local media, and iOS Settings to revoke permissions. Deleting a local copy does not recall copies already shared with others.

Support and privacy requests

If you email support@veridano.org, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send and use it to answer you. Please mention Anglehop and avoid sending recordings, session codes, or other personal information unless needed. You can use this address for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent to support. We cannot retrieve or delete recordings held only on your device or someone else’s device.

Policy updates

We will update this policy when Anglehop’s data handling changes. The effective date identifies this version. Contact support@veridano.org if you have questions about a change.
