About Wok-Man
Lars Tray provides Wok-Man, a free cassette-style music player for iPhone. This policy applies to Wok-Man. Our other apps have separate policies. Wok-Man has no advertising, in-app purchases, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not require a Wok-Man account.
Your music
With your permission, Wok-Man uses Apple’s MusicKit to browse albums and playlists in your Apple Music library and play the music you choose. Apple supplies music metadata, artwork, and playback through its services. Wok-Man does not upload your library or listening history to a developer server, modify your Apple Music playlists, or export Apple Music audio files. Apple handles its services under its own privacy policy and your account settings. Apple Music streaming may require an active subscription.
What stays on your device
Saved tape references, album or playlist titles, custom tape labels, the last track and playback position, player finish, and preferences are stored in the app on your device. The bundled demo recordings are included with the app. Wok-Man has no developer-operated cloud database. iOS may include app data in device backups according to your settings.
Permissions and deletion
Apple Music access is optional; you can use the demo tape without it. Change Media & Apple Music permission for Wok-Man in iOS Settings. Remove a tape from Your tapes using its menu; this does not delete the original album or playlist from Apple Music. Deleting Wok-Man (rather than offloading it) removes its local collection, preferences, and any recovery copies. Backup copies are managed through your Apple backup settings. Wok-Man cannot delete music or account information held by Apple.
Diagnostics
Wok-Man writes limited technical playback status and errors to the device’s system log for troubleshooting. It does not send these logs to a developer-operated analytics service. Apple may handle crash or diagnostic reports according to your device’s analytics and sharing settings.
Support and this website
If you choose to email support@veridano.org, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue, and keep it only as needed for that purpose. You can request deletion by emailing the same address. Opening our support or privacy pages sends normal web request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting service to deliver the page. These pages have no advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies.
Questions and updates
Contact support@veridano.org for privacy questions or requests. If Wok-Man’s data handling changes, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. Apple’s privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
