Wok-Man is free, with no ads, purchases, or paid upgrades. The included demo tape works without an Apple Music account. Apple Music is a separate service; catalog streaming may require an active subscription and a network connection.

Tap Eject on the cover to open Your tapes. Try the After Hours demo, or choose Apple Music and connect your library. Open an album or playlist, then tap Load tape. Your saved tapes are references to your music, not downloaded audio files.

Use the cover’s Play/Pause, Next, Previous, and Eject keys. Tap the cassette window to reveal the current song. Playback controls in the tape-box menu open the track list, position slider, shuffle, repeat, and audio output picker. Use your iPhone’s volume buttons to adjust volume.

Open the Duo to browse the tape shelf. Swipe through albums or playlists, then drag a cassette into the mechanism or use Load tape. Closing can start a newly loaded tape when Close to play is enabled. Closing never intentionally resumes music you paused. The cover stays upright; the interior adapts to the available display space.

Open Settings from the tape-box menu to switch between Sports yellow and Original blue, change mechanical haptics, or rename the loaded cassette. Tape labels change only in Wok-Man, leaving your Apple Music library untouched. Your last tape and position return paused when you reopen the app.

Check Apple Music access for Wok-Man in iOS Settings, your account and subscription in Apple Music, your internet connection, and the selected audio output. Try the same track in Apple Music, then return to Wok-Man and press Play. If a saved tape was removed from your music library, choose another tape. Try the included demo to check the player independently of Apple Music.

Wok-Man preserves a recovery copy before replacing an unreadable collection when it can access the original file. If storage is temporarily unavailable, playback remains available but new changes cannot be saved. Close and reopen the app after unlocking your device. Contact support before deleting the app if you need help with a recovery copy.

Do not send passwords, Apple verification codes, or private playlists. Screenshots are optional; remove personal information before sending.
